How is Crystal Shield different from other similar products?
Unlike traditional epoxy- or wax-based polishing agents, Crystal Shield has a fundamentally different structure. The product penetrates cracks, micro-scratches, hardens, and forms a solid layer at the molecular level. Its high strength is achieved thanks to a new component, silicon dioxide (SiO2). Crystal Shield "laminates" the car body with a thick and durable layer. Typically, the thickness of such a layer ranges from 0.8 to 1.1 microns, which is 2-3 times thicker than any wax-based protective coating. Unlike classical polishing agents, the resulting film lasts for a year or more, withstands up to 150 touchless washes, and provides long-lasting protection against mechanical and chemical impacts.

The maximum hydrophobic effect is achieved after applying 2-3 layers. To maintain it, washing the car at least once a month is sufficient.
When should the second and subsequent layers be applied?
The manufacturer recommends applying the second and subsequent layers after a 1-1.5 hour interval. The more layers applied, the longer the car should stand in a closed garage or booth. 1 layer – 12 hours, 2 layers – 24 hours, 3 layers – 36 hours.
When can the car be washed after applying the coating?
After treatment, it is recommended not to wash the car for 7 days, but it can be driven during this time.
How long should I wait after applying the coating?
Approximately 6 hours, but we recommend waiting 12 hours. During this time, the main stages of the coating's polymerization occur.
What preparations are needed before treatment?
For deep cleaning of the paint surface, the manufacturer recommends using special clay and a silicone-free degreaser.
